Dupont is a multinational corporation committed to making the world a safer, healthier and better place with crucial innovations. One of those innovations is the safety suit for workmen and -women: Tyvek Suits.

 

A top-notch high-visibility vest

They designed a suit that reflects better in dark places, for example in mines. However, the places where they wanted to display these safety suits were too bright. It didn’t do the reflective suits justice. They were looking for a better solution to showcase their product.

Soulmade developed a VR production in an old mine shaft. It was a technical masterpiece. The script: as an employee, you wear regular work gear. Suddenly the alarm goes off and there’s smoke all around you. You look around, but can’t see your colleagues and they don’t see you. You get trapped in the mine. After this, the last scene reappears, but everyone is wearing the Tyvek Suit. The reflection is much more visible. Now you can see your colleagues and everyone gets rescued from the situation.

Virtual reality is the ultimate instrument for a complete experience. You enter a parallel universe that shows reality, an idea or a dream in an accessible way.

VR highlights safety

The VR experience puts you in the middle of a dangerous situation, making you more aware of the usefulness of a high-visibility suit. The fictional situation looks so real and tangible that the safety of wearing such a suit is literally highlighted.

This campaign was initially created for a convention in France, but because of its success, Dupont showed the experience at several exhibitions all over the world. That’s why we had it dubbed in different languages, including English, Russian, German and Arabic.
